TJP&A knows about the importance of meeting production deadlines and can respond quickly to your emergencies. We also know that the smartest way to meet deadlines and maintain high productivity is to avoid emergencies. That’s why TJP&A encourages regular preventive maintenance and tune-ups.

TJP&A can also manage your software and hardware upgrades in a way that minimizes costly disruptions. When upgrading software we look beyond the list of new features to evaluate how the new software will impact your total production process.

We know that a significant cause of problems is incorrect software installation. Many programs automatically install undesirable items or change things that should not be changed or fail to install all needed parts. TJP&A carefully tracks electronic publishing software and operating systems. We assess their stability and develop robust installation procedures. We install software using systematic procedures for continued reliable operation of your publishing system.

We keep track of flaws in new versions and can advise you if the manufacturers have really worked out all the kinks. We also know that upgrades often require coordinated changes in other software. TJP&A keeps on top of the issues to assure that your upgraded software does not leave you high and dry.

TJP&A is also experienced with computer hardware upgrades. We know how to switch you over to new hardware without disrupting the smooth operation of your production system.

Emergency Service

Fast help when you need it the most
TJP&A will troubleshoot and correct severe problems that seriously impair your ability to stay on schedule. On-site visits are scheduled as soon as possible, typically within 24 hours of your call. Rush charges apply to non-retainer clients.

Regular Service

Expert assistance provided on a routine basis
TJP&A will provide preventive maintenance, routine software upgrades, tune-ups, and diagnose and correct routine computer problems.

Retainer Service

Regular pre-paid service maintains productivity and minimizes emergencies TJP&A will recommend a regular maintenance program based on the number and type of computers you own. Clients with Retainer Service receive priority scheduling for both Regular and Emergency Service and are exempt from rush charges for Emergency calls.
